Farmer trampled by bull

A farmer who was trampled by a half-tonne bull this morning remains in hospital.

The incident happened near the Rangitata Gorge Rd in South Canterbury.

The man was airlifted to Timaru Hospital.

A hospital spokeswoman says he's in the intensive care unit in a stable condition.
