The family of a missing Auckland man have set up a Facebook page to appeal for any information on where he may be.
Arthur Eddie Cooper was last seen leaving his home in Birkdale on Auckland's North Shore on Thursday at 1.30pm when he went to get something from his car.
His daughter-in-law said he was acting normally before he vanished. He went out with no wallet and no phone.
A search involving a helicopter failed to find Cooper, and a Facebook page has been set up by his family for any possible sightings.
He is described as caucasian, approximately 177 centimetres tall, of thin build with short grey hair and a ginger goatee beard.
He was wearing a blue short sleeve shirt, black sweatshirt, sneakers and a blue bucket hat.
Anyone who has seen him or who may know his present whereabouts is asked to urgently contact the police.
