The trial for the murder of New Zealand teenager Emily Longley is expected to begin in Britain later today.

Longley was found dead in her boyfriend Elliot Turner's bed in Bournemouth, southern England, on May 7 last year.

Turner, 20, has pleaded not guilty to murdering the 17-year-old aspiring model and perverting the course of justice.

The trial, which was delayed last week by legal arguments, is expected to last four weeks.
