A High Court hearing in Christchurch on Thursday will determine whether the proposed Dunedin stadium will get the go ahead.
The Dunedin City Council is being taken to court by the group, Stop the Stadium, which filed an injunction against the council last week.
The hearing takes place on Thursday afternoon, with Justice Chisholm indicating he'll make a decision in court Friday morning.
Dunedin Mayor Peter Chin is pleased the result will be announced soon, as it gives certainty to both the council and the community.
