American billionaire Donald Trump is lending his name to a New Zealand lottery Big Wednesday sales promotion which launches on Thursday.

The Trump Up Your Life promotion included an all-expenses paid trip to New York for the winner and three friends, and $100,000 for the winner.

The lucky four would spend six nights at the new Trump Soho hotel, receive $NZ14,250 spending money each, play golf at Trump National Golf Club, and meet Trump himself, if his schedule allowed.

The winner would also receive a set of high-end luggage and have a chaffeur-driven limo on-call during the time in New York.

Trump, a real-estate and casino magnate known for his starring role in TV show The Apprentice, personified the luxury lifestyle which would become a reality for Big Wednesday winners, NZ Lotteries chief executive Todd McLeay said.
