Dominic Bowden, one of the best known faces on New Zealand television, covers entertainment news across the spectrum of TVNZ News and Current Affairs programmes, as well as on the TVNZ website.

Based in the United States these days, Dominic is on hand to cover all of the big stories in the world of entertainment - getting to talk to some of today's biggest stars and giving TVNZ viewers a uniquely Kiwi insight into the global entertainment industry.

Dominic began his career co-hosting the cult late-night music show Space, fronted the 2001 New Zealand Music Awards, has worked alongside British superstar Robbie Williams, fronting the special, Robbie Williams: Be Here Now and iof course had phenomenal success as the host of the much loved NZ Idol.

In 2007 he travelled to LA where he won the plum job as host of US reality TV series The Next Great American Band. While there he also got to meet and interview one of the hardest working men int he US entertainemnt industry, Ryan Seacrest.

Dominic has also worked extensively in radio.  In 2005 he hosted a nightly show on More FM and also hosted the Idol Live show with former NZ Idol judge Paul Ellis.  He also spent time working for radio stations overseas.
