Police say the death of a middle-aged Christchurch woman whose body was discovered in a home overnight is not suspicious.
Emergency services were called to a Gloucester Street address in Linwood around 2am.
Christchurch police said a post-mortem examination conducted this afternoon confirmed the death was not suspicious.
The death has now been referred to the coroner.
