The court case for the Auckland man accused of deliberately infecting people with the HIV virus has been put back, because more complainants have come forward.

Glenn Mills has made a brief appearance at the Auckland District Court.

Wednesday was supposed to be his pre depositions hearing, but police were unable to proceed as a number of other complaints have come forward since his name was made public at his last appearance.

At the moment Mills is facing 14 charges for seven victims, including infecting with the disease.

He has been remanded again in custody until the end of July.
