Prince William will hit the ground running once his flight touches down at Auckland International Airport Sunday morning.

He is only here for three days and has an itinerary packed with meet and greets, and social occasions.

Following an official welcome, the prince will be whisked off for a bit of downtime, before he resurfaces at Eden Park at 3pm to look at work to prepare it for the Rugby World Cup.

He will also be spending time with the All Blacks.

From there, he will head to the Viaduct Basin for a trip on NZL40, and then have a hangi at Government House.

On Monday he is in Wellington to open the Supreme Court, before travelling to Australia on Tuesday.
