Prince William has embarked on his first official visit to New Zealand (his visit as a baby, where he is famous for chasing a Buzzy Bee, doesn't count!) and there is much to be squeezed into the couple of days.

Prince William arrived on Sunday and is straight into the action with a visit to Eden Park to take in the Rugby World Cup redevelopments.

He also faces an outing on the Auckland Harbour, sailing on the NZL40.

On Monday, the prince leaves Auckland and heads to Wellington, where Prime Minister John Key has invited him to open the new Supreme Court building.

Still in Wellington on Tuesday, Prince William will be visiting the children's hospital, before he departs for Australia.

During his visit, the prince will also be taking in some good old fashioned Kiwi tucker, with a hangi and a barbecue to attend.
