Bus moved off highway after catching fire

A bus which caught fire in Hukerenui after breaking down on State Highway 1 has now been moved.

The Kiwi Wilderness Experience Bus blocked the road north of Whangarei after breaking down when a fire broke out on board.

No other vehicles were involved and there were no injuries.

The Fire Service extinguished the fire.
