Twenty one people face drink drive charges following a weekend blitz in Tauranga by police.
Eight were more than twice their legal limit, and one, a 37 year old, blew over three times the limit when she was stopped at a checkpoint in Judea early Saturday.
Sergeant Dan Roser says the actions of these 21 drivers, combined with the bad weather conditions on Friday and Saturday, made local roads very dangerous to be on.
