Bluff crash leaves man in critical condition

A man is fighting for his life after a serious crash in Bluff last night.

The man was trapped in his car after the crash happened at 9.15pm and had to be cut free by firefighters.

He was taken to Southland Hospital but was later transferred to Dunedin Hospital where he remains in a critical condition in an induced coma.

The Police Serious Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
