Bidders wary as auctions hit record

New figures reveal record numbers of people are trying to sell their homes at auction.

But nervousness about the housing market means buyers are not bidding and that's leaving many of the homes unsold on auction day.

Last month, around 5,000 dwellings sold.

That's up on January's 3,500 but down from more than 5,000 sales at the same time last year.
