An Auckland train driver accused of knowingly infecting people with HIV is due back in court for a bail hearing.
Glenn Mills has been behind bars since the first of 28 charges were laid earlier this year.
Accommodation has been arranged for Mills if he is released from prison, but delays in getting case notes transferred from the District Court to the High Court prevented the matter from being heard until Friday.
Mills is facing 28 charges relating to 14 victims.
Five men have tested HIV positive.
