Around 100 people took to Auckland's Queen Street today to protest against the Government's cuts to KiwiSaver and family tax credits.
The rally was organised by Members of the Coalition for Social Justice which is made up of members of community groups, people from religious organisations and unions.
Spokesperson Meredydd Barrar said the Budget cuts would "condemn the majority of New Zealanders to relative poverty is not acceptable".
Barrar has been spoken to by detectives after suggestions he might be planning to flour bomb Eden Park during the Rugby World Cup.
He told ONE News comments he made about the potential to flour bomb Eden Park during the World Cup have been taken out of context.
