Fog conditions have lifted and normal operations have resumed at Auckland Airport after dozens of regional flights of flights were delayed or cancelled early this morning.
Auckland Airport said the process of clearing any backlog of flights has started.
According to the airport, as of 8:15am 34 domestic flights had been affected, with 21 cancellations and 13 delayed or rescheduled.
MetService said the problems were caused by a 'misty low cloud'
that could linger because there are only light winds.
Passengers enquiring about individual flights should contact their
airline or check the
Auckland Airport
website.
