The chance to meet a living tennis legend in Auckland has proved too good an opportunity for one die-hard fan to miss.
Andre Agassi will be signing copies of his autobiography 'Open' in Newmarket this morning.
One fan was photographed sleeping in the doorway of the book store last night in anticipation of meeting the former world number one.
Agassi was meeting fans in Christchurch yesterday and will also be guest of honour at a gala dinner at the Langham hotel this evening, where he will be detailing the highs and lows of his career.
His autobiography proved controversial when it was published in 2009, with its admissions of drug use and his frank feelings about hating the game he became famous for.
Agassi also admitted in the bestselling book that his famous bushy mullet hairstyle was actually a wig.
