Akld shopkeeper threatened with gun

West Auckland police are on Saturday night hunting two firearm-toting youths who threatened a woman working in a $2 store in Swanson.

The woman was alone just after 5pm  when the two teenagers threatened her with a small handgun, possibly a BB gun.

The pair fled the shop and made off on foot.

Police were not able to say immediately if anything was taken in the apparent robbery attempt.
