The family of the missing two-year-old West Auckland has asked for privacy, as six days of trauma take their toll on the Symes.

Aisling disappeared last Monday evening, and police believe she has been abducted.

Police have now uploaded 10 seconds of video footage onto the police website

"While it is heartbreaking footage to see given the current circumstances, we feel it humanises Aisling even more than a still photograph can," says Inspector Gary Davey.

It shows her in clothing other than what she's been seen wearing in the pictures released so far.

He says staff are working tirelessly on the case.

The last confirmed sighting of the little girl is still the one on Longburn Road, when she was seen with an Asian woman.

Inspector Davey says several people of interest have now been profiled by the intelligence section and suspect team, but there's been no strong information to lead them to Aisling Symes.

Anyone who may have seen her since Monday, October 5 at 5.15pm, is strongly urged to call the 0800 4 AISLING - 0800 4 2475 464
