Jackie Clarke


Jackie Clarke is the original jack of all trades - she's a singer, actor, comedian and all round entertainer, as comfortable on stage as she is on screen and in the studio.... plus she's a Grey Lynn mother of two exceptionally gorgeous, talented and intelligent boys - Stan (three) and Ernie (six months).

Clarke's recent stage appearances include the smash hit NZ tour of Mum's the Word 2003, the world premiere of The Underwatermelon Man  at the 2002 New Zealand Festival, the Narrator in the 1998 international production of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors at Sky City Theatre.

Clarke is also a mainstay of the perennial Hairy McLary theatre shows and has performed opera at the Mercury (Porgy and Bess), country swing with The Darlings ( with Callie Blood), Kander and Ebb at the Sky City Theatre (The World Goes Round) and Cole Porter at Downstage  (Let's Do It). She has also performed at numerous large-scale outdoor events, inlcuding Christmas in the Park and the NBR Stadium Specacular 2003.

She is also well-known for her many television appearances including judging the TV ONE talent show Showcase and starring in TV3's hit comedy series Skitz and it's spin off sitcom The Semisis. Jack has also graced the tele presenting two documentaries -  Wise Women and Song (TV ONE)  Twins (TV2). 

Clarke was a member of When The Cat's Been Spayed, the kiwiana kitsch trio with two successful albums, countless national tours, a plethora of Lotto advertisements and it's own Country Calendar special!
