Vacation Weekend
Bronca's vacation was all about relaxation and quality family time
- something that Bronca treasures dearly, but can find a struggle
to fit in with all the other charitable causes that she squeezes in
to her everyday life.
On the Friday, Bronca and family packed up their courtesy vehicles from Giltrap Prestige Skoda and were waved off by the volunteers that had arrived to "muck in" and makeover their garden.
Snowplanet was the first on the agenda for the Fox family, who
spent the afternoon snowboarding and tobogganing the slopes.
Snowplanet kitted them all out with the complimentary passes,
equipment and additional clothing they needed to manoeuvre
themselves on the slopes until their hearts were
content.
Once the family had finished at Snowplanet they drove the short
distance to Orewa, where they were very kindly hosted at Waves
Motel, Orewa, by Margaret and Andrew Dutoy. This was the
perfect location to chill out, enjoy the beach and the wonderful
spa bath!
That night nanny, Sarah Egglestone, arrived to look after the young
ones, so Bronca and Dion could whisk themselves away for a
complimentary dinner at Rocksalt Restaurant, Orewa. What a
fantastic menu.
The following day, the family headed off to Waiwera Thermal Springs
to swim and relax in the pools, hydro slides and spas. This
was another destination that the whole family enjoyed and found
hard to leave.
Sunday was all about relaxation and preparation for their return to their wonderful new garden in Takanini. They drove up to their house in Takanini in the afternoon to a huge crowd of volunteers (friends, family and contractors) who were so excited to show them all the hard work that had gone on around their property over the weekend. There were smiles all around.
