New Zealand driver Brendon Hartley had a weekend to forget as the Formula 3 motor racing series was decided in France.
Frenchman Jules Bianchi scored a second and first placing in the two races at Dijon to wrap up the series with a round remaining.
The ART driver took advantage of a huge first corner pile-up on the opening lap of the second race to rise from seventh to third. From there he picked off Mucke teammates Sam Bird and Alexander Sims to take the win and the championship.
Hartley didn't feature in either race. He exited the 21-lap first race in the 12th lap while he managed just 11th place for his Carlin team in the second race.
He remains 11th in the series standings.
Championship standings:
1. Jules Bianchi (France) 102 points
2. Christian Vietoris (Germany) 58
3. Valtteri Bottas (Finland) 45
Also: BRENDON HARTLEY (New Zealand) 15 points 11
