New Zealand driver Scott Dixon has qualified third for the latest round of the Indy Car series at Watkins Glen.
Ryan Briscoe has pole position with a track-record lap of 1 minute, 28.5970, and will line up on the front row of the grid alongside Justin Wilson.
Dixon - who won the first three IndyCar Series races at The Glen - will share Row 2 with Mario Moraes, who is starting in the top ten for the fifth time.
Briscoe's Team Penske team-mate, Helio Castroneves was bumped in the first 20-minute segment by Dan Wheldon's final lap and will start from 14th.
"Needless to say, qualifying was a bit frustrating." Indy500 winner Castroneves told IndyCar.com.
"It took us a little longer to get up to speed than we though it would and we just didn't have enough time to a fast lap in there at the end of the session."
The IndyCar race at Watkins Glen starts at 5.00am Monday (NZT)
