New Zealand A1GP driver Earl Bamber has little time to get over jet lag ahead of this weekend's round in Malaysia

The 18-year-old only touched down in Kuala Lumpur late Thursday night after a long-haul flight from Europe.

Bamber says he has become accustomed to long distance flights and he's prepared well before the round.

Despite not having an A1 car to train in he has been doing fitness and simulation training so he believes he'll be well prepared.

Bamber will hops into Black Beauty on Friday night in the first practice session at Sepang.

Meanwhile, in Tasmania Daniel Gaunt will make his debut for Team Kiwi Racing in the latest round of the V8 Supercar Championship on Friday afternoon.
