About Meet The Locals
For its third series Meet the Locals introduces a new
conservation double act in the form of
Dr James Reardon and
Les Judd .
Using their particular areas of expertise and enthusiasms they will
lead viewers up and down the country looking for stories that
inspire and instruct.
Les focuses on the East coast of the South Island, from Spoonbills
in the Catlin's to Hutton's Shearwaters in Kaikoura.
This beautiful coastline is the home to some of New Zealand's most
fascinating and unique wildlife, as well as being the stomping
ground of Les herself. Meanwhile James focuses on the south of the
North Island, from Wellington to Kapiti Island via Mt Bruce
Pukaha.
Meet the Locals continues to bring New Zealand's conservation
stories into our homes in the fun, accessible and informative way
that has made it a firm favourite for the last four years.
