Mozzarella, Prosciutto and Tomato
MasterChef New Zealand - Mozzarella, Prosciutto and Tomato with Saparossa Balsamic
Prosciutto di Parma (10 slices)
2 fresh buffalo mozzarella, sliced
2 vine ripened tomatoes, sliced
Small handful fresh basil leaves
Saparossa balsamic
Extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt
Pepper, freshly ground
1 Finely slice the prosciutto di parma, place slices on a tray
lined with clingfilm and place in the refrigerator until
needed.
2 Arrange the parma slice across a plate, arrange the mozzarella
diagonally across the slices, top with tomato, top with basil
leaves and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, and saparossa
balsamic, season with salt and pepper.
