Episode 21 - Chicken Teryaki
Chicken thigh, cut into cubes or strips
Ginger, finely chopped
Chopped spring onion
Marinate the chicken for 15-30 minutes
Remove the meat from the marinade and sear in a hot pan, being carful not to let it burn, until coloured. Add the marinade to the pan and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the chicken and simmer the sauce till slightly syrupy. Add the chicken back in and set aside.
In a hot wok stir fry the bok choy for 1-2 minutes.
Toss through the chicken and serve with chopped spring onion
