Favourite ingredient and why?
Chilli because they're red and shiny!

What's your favourite meal of the day - breakfast, lunch or dinner?
Dinner because I feel bad drinking wine at breakfast.

What dish would be the way to your heart?
A good Chicken Parmigiana.

What are your favourite tunes to cook to?
The King, The Boss and Wilco.

What do you think you'll learn from being on MasterChef?
Patience.

Which judge makes you the most nervous?
The big man!

Tell us about how you got into cooking and how old were you?
I was about 21 when I moved out of home. It was either cook or starve.

What's the first meal you remember cooking and was it a success or a disaster?
It was a dry and hot curry. I thought it was a success, but my little sister Clair was really sick as it was too hot.     

What three ingredients would you take with you to a desert island and what would you cook with them?
Malted barley, yeast, hops&beer! What else do you need on a deserted island?

If you were having any three people, alive or dead, over for dinner, who would they be and what would you cook for them? 
Elvis, Sailor Jerry and Jason Molina. I'd cook them fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches&Elvis loves them! 

What inspired you to go on MasterChef?
I loved series one and was pressured into it by my mates!
