MEDIA RELEASE
This week on Marae 12th April 2009

Cops on Campus, it's a sign of the times.

They are fast becoming a permanent feature in school grounds. Last year's Cops in Schools program has been picked up by Waikato schools and renamed Cops on Campus.

But as reporter Tahuri Tumoana found out, Waikato schools like Hamilton's Fraser High are taking things one step at a time.

Super City
From a bunch of small satellite cities to a super city. That's what Auckland will become as its local government structures merge into one.

But there's no room for separate Mäori representation in the super city, even though the Royal Commission examining the super city's viability recommended it.

So where to now?

Ngäti Whatua representative Naida Glavish, Waikato Tainui representative Koerahui Papa and Mäori party MP Hone Harawira join Shane Taurima in studio to talk about what it means to be Mäori and now voiceless - in Aotearoa's biggest city.

Ropata Hewitt
Three years ago he survived four days lost at sea.

Now, Ropata (aka Rob) Hewitt is passing on lessons in life to Taranaki youth - on the rugby league field and in the water.

Aroaro Tamati reports.
