Thursday's racing in the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series was delayed due to a lack of wind but is now underway

The teams, race officials and spectator craft spent the morning out on the water, waiting for the forecast light sea breeze.

Alinghi and Team Origin started the first gold fleet in the two BMW Oracle boats at 1.25pm.

One of the Team New Zealand boats is damaged and has returned to shore for repairs to its forestay.

It is expected to return to the water but it will affect the silver fleet races (K-Challenge vs Greek Challenge and Team Shosholoza vs China Team) schedulesd for later on Thursday.

Team New Zealand faces the Italian Damiani Challenge and BMW Oracle take on Luna Rossa in the other gold fleet races.

In round robin two, teams have been split into two groups - gold and silver.

The top six through round robin one make up the gold fleet while the bottom two contest the silver.
