Team New Zealand remains the only unbeaten syndicate in Pool A after light winds delayed racing on Monday in the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series.
A frustrating day for the sailors but it was business as usual for Team New Zealand when racing did start.
Skipper Dean Barker timed his run to the start line to perfection.
The team from China came in early and as they turned back to restart Team New Zealand sailed off to victory.
Barker suggested a lack of experience showed on the China Team boat.
"It was a tough manoeuvre what they tried to do...maybe for Ian (Ainslie) it is just that he hasn't sailed these boats a lot so he doesn't have it working quite as quickly as he is used to" said Barker.
The Kiwi boat is on top of Pool A with the only clean sheet in the group.
In race two there was no more glory for the tenacious Greeks.
Luna Rossa's skipper, the Virgin Islands-based Peter Holmberg, kept his team out of trouble with a clean start which he turned into an easy win.
Team New Zealand will face K-Challenge on day five of the series.
