Win a Lion Safari in Africa With Chef®
Terms and Conditions: please read
1. Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these conditions.
2. Entry is open to all residents of New Zealand excluding employees (and immediate family members) of the Promoter, its affiliates, participating outlets and agencies associated with this promotion.
3 . The Promoter is Heinz Wattie's Limited of 513 King Street North, Hastings, New Zealand.
4 . The Chef® "Win a Lion Safari in Africa" Promotion commences on Sunday 6th February 2005 and ends at 5pm on Friday 15th April 2005. Entries received after this date will be ineligible. The prize will be drawn on Tuesday 19th April 2005 from all valid entries received, as set out in paragraph 11 of these Terms and Conditions.
5 . You may enter on line or by post. To enter by post, you must attach any Chef® Cat Food label, barcode or proof of purchase receipt from any product within the Chef® Cat Food range inclusive of the Chef® Canned Cat food range, Chef® Pouch range and Chef® Dry Nature's Balance range to this entry form provide us with your name, address and contact details, enclose them in an envelope and send it to "Chef® Lion Safari in Africa Contest, DX Box CX15098, Auckland.
On line entry requires that you fill in an online entry form and quote a barcode from any product within the Chef® Cat Food range.
6. You may enter by post as many times as you like but each postal entry must be in a separate envelope and have a Chef® barcode, label or proof of purchase receipt attached. Photocopies of entry forms are permitted but they must have an original Chef® label, barcode or proof of purchase attached.
7 . Entry on line is restricted to one entry per person (individual email address) per day of the promotion.
8 . The major prize consists of return economy class airfares for 4, departing from the winner's nearest domestic airport to Johannesburg, South Africa, transfers to and from the airport in Johannesburg, share twin accommodation in Johannesburg on arrival and the night before departure, 5 days and 4 nights guided Camping Safari around the Kruger National Park in a purpose-built safari truck, all meals on safari, guiding and park entrance fees. Spending money, insurance, transfers within New Zealand to and from the winner's nearest domestic airport, and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.
9 . The major prize is subject to availability at the time of booking and is valid for use from the prize draw date to 15th April 2006.
10 . 50 consolation prizes of a Lion Soft toy and Chef® Cat Food pack will also be awarded. Please allow 21 days from draw date for delivery of consolation prizes.
11 . The winner of the major prize will be determined from all valid entries received whether on line or by post and will be judged by drawing one finalist from on line entries and one from postal entries. The judges will then draw one ultimate winner from the two finalists. The 50 consolation prizes will be determined in a similar fashion.
12 . If the winner of the major prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian.
13 . Incorrect or incomplete entries will be disqualified.
14 . The winners of all prizes will be notified by mail and telephone immediately following the prize draw.
15 . The prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
16 . The Promoter shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage whatsoever sustained by any person either directly or indirectly in connection with any prize offered in this promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
17 . Whilst the Promoter has contracted the services of reputable travel and safari suppliers with the expectation that the winner will see lions on safari, the Promoter accepts no responsibility if, for whatever reason outside its control, lions are not seen whilst on safari.
18 . Entrants' personal information will be stored at the Auckland office of the Promoter (46 Parnell Road, Auckland).Any request to amend personal information should be addressed to that office. Personal information will be entered into a data-base for the purpose of informing entrants of further Chef® promotions unless entrants indicate otherwise by ticking the box provided on the entry form.
19 . The Promoter shall have no responsibility or liability to any winner or any other person in respect of any incomplete or late entry or any entry not received because of internet malfunction or any other reason.
20 . Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to Heinz Wattie's Limited and its agencies to use the winner's name and/or photographs for the purposes of publicity, advertising or trade publication without further compensation, subject to the winner's consent.
21 . By participating in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the judges. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
