Episode 1: Big Foot
On October 20th, 1967, Roger Patterson was looking for evidence
of the Sasquatch in Northern California. Although his intent was to
gather footage of the Sasquatch habitat, he really did not expect

Patterson apparently shot what has become the most compelling film evidence ever gathered of a live Sasquatch. The film is shaky in the beginning, but becomes more stable toward the end where the animal can be clearly seen and identified.
Nearly 40 years later, New Zealand's own Crypto-zoologist Leigh Hart, in an attempt to capture his own hard physical and photographic evidence for the existence of Big Foot joins an official Hunt for Big Foot in Northern California. He will camp for a number of days in the wilderness.
This is Big Foot's back yard but it is also home to grizzly bears, wild cats and some very stupid possibly inter-bred people. He talks to eye witnesses, self proclaimed experts, and a guy called Dan who claims he was raped repeatedly by the beast in 1964.
Leigh will visit the national Big Foot museum and take part in the moonshine fuelled Big Foot festival.
He also attends the annual Big Foot conference in Ohio
And we meet a man who is determined to kill Big Foot. He believes that we have to kill Big Foot to prove he exists in order to make him into a protected
In an attempt to separate myth from fact, the real from hoax, Leigh dons a Big Foot suit and attempts to recreate the legendary Patterson footage in the exact location it was filmed in 1967.
