About The Erin Simpson Show

The Erin Simpson Show launches on April 19th 2010, putting colour back in your life and painting the town pink, blue and green!

Join the loveable Erin on the couch to hang out and meet some of the biggest stars in New Zealand! The show is packed with games, goodies, celebrities, snacks, fashion, music and free stuff.

Resident house band Shannon and Mathias are back to rock the party with their very own studio gigs.

This year there are weekly album reviews more ways to win as we play in-studio competitions: 'Motor Mania', 'The Wall of Fame' and 'Up For Grabs' where celebrities play to win for a viewer at home. On the website you can win goodies like tickets for a 'Hot Seat', or passes for the latest movie, DVDs, games and gadgets and latest fashion accessories.

There's more chances to get onscreen too with 'For Real'  which tells teenagers real life inspirational stories from all over the country, starting with Clayton Marr New Zealand's youngest licensed driver with Down's Syndrome.  Back by popular demand is 'Copy Cats' - where viewers imitate their favourite popstars, go head-to-head in an online vote and win a chance to come and perform live in studio.

The snack bar delivers the goods again with stars making personal recipes topped off with a sprinkle of chat and gossip!

Our team of roving reporters are out covering the hottest happenings in fashion, sports, gaming and entertainment. Join Kimberley Crossman, Isaac Ross, Katy Thomas and Chang Hung for an exclusive front row seat to all the big events.

And while we say a sad goodbye to our music reporter and soon-to-be solo artist Ruby Frost, we also reveal our brand new musical guru the very cool D Love.

We've got LA and London locked down with overseas reporters Dominic Bowden and Jon Franks catching up with the stars ringside at premieres and launch parties in Hollywood and Leicester Square.

Mischief makers Will & Dan return with their own funny and alternative comedy adventure. This fictional series follows their dumb and dumber schemes as they try to not to get sacked from their jobs and in the process get castaway, transported to the sun, bump into aliens and discover that one of them is marked by fate.

Back in the real world, The Erin Simpson Show has also teamed with Maggi in 2010 to search for the best Year 7 and 8 school cooking teams in the 'Maggi Intermediate School Kitchen Showdown'. Over 60 school teams will battle in the kitchen to get in the Top 3 and join Erin at the finals in the studio in Christchurch.

Brand new and off the blocks The Suzuki Learn To Drive Series aims to give viewers a practical guide to learning to drive, with tips and tricks of the trade. Also look out for the team travelling around the country in their sponsored Suzuki Swift and Vitara.

And that's not all - this year Friday is officially fun day on The Erin Simpson Show with a live studio audience and heaps of dancing, Erin will also be out and about heading your way on a school holiday road trip and look out for the exclusive, end-of-year bloc party - everyone's invited!
