All About Jeremy
Presenter Jeremy Hollis
Alright! All about me? Here goes:
My full name is still Jeremy Te Arawhata-o-te-rangi Hollis. It's a
long name, but when I get in trouble with my parents, by the time
they've said my full name they've forgotten what I've done
wrong!
My beautiful, darling, cherub daughter Lyric will be 4 in October!
She loves dancing, our new kittens (so do I!), drawing and
cheese... and usually finds a combination of all 4.
I live in Auckland with my Dad and my sister, Hinekura. My Mama
lives in Matamata with my youngest sister Sophie. We recently got
two new kittens who are simply awesome! We named them Booger, cos
he's the runt, and Indy - after the great explorer Indiana
Jones!
When I'm not presenting In BeTWEEN I'm a stuntie... a stunt
professional for film and TV, usually either sword fighting,
getting blown up, or jumping off stuff! It's a great job - it's
every boy's dream to grow up, get paid to play dress-up and sword
fight right?! And the people are so incredibly awesome and
inspiring.
I also do a bit of Graphic Design. It's a lot of fun, especially if
you're like me and you LOVE being creative!
I love music, always have. I play guitar mostly but try to sing (my
mum likes my voice at least...). I play bass in a band called 'The
Gaze', and I also have my own little project called 'Texakana'.
Music getting cranked on my itunes at the mo: Bloc Party, Deftones,
Naked and Famous, George Michael (honestly, he's awesome!), some
Nirvana, a band called 'As Tall As Lions' and another called
'MuteMath'... plus HEAPS more of course!
I love hanging with Lyric, she is so much fun.
I love making and playing music.
I love Mexican food. Nachos is pretty much the only dish I know how
to cook.
I love playing Xbox with my buddies. Xbox is awesome. My friends
are more awesome. Put them together and you get... the
awesomest!
I love exercise... it's a great way to get stuff out of your system
and makes ya feel great afterwards too!
I love movies.
I love designing stuff. I also love checking out what other people
have designed.
I tell really bad jokes.
I drink a lot of tea.
I have recently discovered the 'yum-ness' of porridge! (there's a
secret to it... ask me!)
And I have also recently discovered the awesomeness of hi-tops!
