Can you guess this Home and Away guest star's famous hubby?
LA based actress Tasma Walton has announced she’s joining Home and Away in a guest role later this year.
She’ll be playing the role of teacher Jade Montgomery and will appear on the the show for couple of months in the lead up to this year’s big season finale.
Tasma may be familiar to New Zealand audiences from her role in TV ONE’s City Homicide or nineties classic Blue Heelers. But it’s her husband who Kiwi audiences are more likely to recognise, comedian and talk show host Rove McManus.
A firm favourite with New Zealand viewers, Rove was previously married to another former Home and Away actress Belinda Emmett who died tragically of breast cancer in 2006.
Partly based in LA with her husband, Tasma says she relishes the chance to spend time back home in Australia while working on Home and Away.
“I always love being home, and any opportunity to marry a trip home with acting work is certainly welcome.”
This isn’t Tasma’s first appearance on Home and Away either. Back in 1995, she had a six episode stint in a different role as Rachel Watson.
Look out for Tasma on New Zealand screens later this year.
