Speculaas Spice Biscuits

Speculaas Spice Biscuits

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 8 minutes
Cost: $6.20
Makes: about 80 small biscuits, 40 large ones

Ingredients
350 g Flour
1 tsp baking powder
150g sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs
3 tblsp milk
3 tspns specuulas spice mix
200g soft butter
120g hazelnuts, ground
120g walnuts,ground

Method
Combine all ingredients together, and mix using a 'k' paddle until it comes together.
Roll into a ball (using extra flour if needed) and place in plastic wrap, refrigerate for at least one hour before using.
Pre heat oven to 200C
Roll dough, very thin, about 3mm and cut out any shape.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and cook the biscuits for about 10-15 minutes (I have removed the sentence about the browning)
Decorate or ice as you wish, once cool.
