Michelle A'Court (Comedian)
Originally trained as a journalist, Michele A'Court first became a familiar face to television viewers as a children's TV presenter in the 1980s and then as a fulltime stand-up comedian in the 1990s.
Now she combines both of these passions. Michele is a freelance writer for magazines, a Press newspaper columnist, a social commentator on radio and she was crowned Comedienne of the Decade at the 2010 NZ Comedy Guild Awards.
While she loves catching planes to entertain people everywhere, her favourite place to be is at home in her pyjamas, hanging out with her teenage daughter and her husband, fellow-comedian Jeremy Elwood.
