Kathi Roll - Egg and Chicken Wrap

Ingredients for wrap:

1 cup flour

½ cup whole wheat flour

1tsp oil

¾ tsp salt

7- 8 tsp water

 

Chicken Filling:

½ ea while onion sliced

1 tbl spoon oil

1 tbl spoon ginger paste

1 tbl garlic paste

1 tsp green chilli chopped

300 gram boneless chicken

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garam masala

 

Salad filling:

1 tomato julienne

1 capsicum julienne

½ carrot julienne

1 egg beaten

 

Method:

For dough – combine ingredients together and let it rest. Make small roundels and roll it to make very thin wraps

Cook it lightly on a non-stick pan, and keep it aside

For filling – take a pan, add oil and sliced onion and let it sweat.

Add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste.

Add dry spices and add chicken and cook till chicken is cooked

For wrap – take a non-stick pan, put little bit of oil and put the egg on it, while egg is cooking put the wrap. Let the egg stick on the wrap, once that is done, flip the wrap on the other side and put the filling in with the salad.

 

Serves – 2- 4 people
