Quilted Child's Bed Throw
If your child needs a bit more warmth, Spotlight have the most amazing selection of child themed printed fabric - all padded, and the great thing is that if you want to try your hand at quick and easy quilting, it's all printed and portioned into quiltable easy sections... marvelous for busy people.
Things to gather:
All materials available from Spotlight.
Fabric comes in the perfect cot size or buy several panels to fit
bed
matching thread, backing fabric
pins, scissors, thick knitting needle
Sewing machine
Method
Make sure that the top printed fabric and backing
fabric are the same size.
Take work to sewing machine and on the marked lines, top stitch
using matching or contrasting thread.
Once completed bring right sides of top fabric and backing fabric
together.
Pin around all edges allow for a good cm seam.
Leave a small area open to turn work right side out.
Clip corners to make neat and remove excess fabric.
Turn work out through opening then use a knitting needle to push
out corners.
