Lotions and Potions
Beauty secrets found in the pantry

1.  Caffeine facial boost

This is excellent for boosting and hydrating skin.
Into a small bowl add equal amounts of dried espresso coffee with runny honey.
Mix well, and then apply to face for 10 minutes.
Remove with warm water.

2. Caffeine body scrub
Into a  bowl mix well -
2 cups ground coffee grinds
1/4 cup sea salt
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp runny honey

Store in a Tupperware container and use all over body for hydrated and toned skin.

3. Aspirin and lemon juice for flawless skin
Better than a chemical peel, but do a skin test first
Ingredients
Crush 10 non-coated aspirin to a fine powder.
Combine with freshly squeeze lemon juice.

Method
Let it dissolve into a paste - will take about 5 or so minutes.
Lightly apply to a breakout or blemish.
Remove with a cotton ball dipped in a solution of baking soda and water&

4. Natural homemade deodorant
Ingredients
5-6 tbsp coconut oil
¼ cup baking soda
¼ cup arrow root powder or cornstarch

Method
Combine equal portions of baking soda and arrowroot powder, then slowly add coconut oil and work it in with a spoon until you reach desired thickness
It should be about the same texture as the store purchased, solid and easily applied.
Pour into an old deodorant dispenser or into a lidded jar and apply with fingers.
Mine lasted a couple of months and really does work.
