Things to gather
All materials can be purchased from Spotlight
The pattern I've selected is "NewLook 6073"
I'm making version B with the hood
On the back of the pattern you will see how much fleece fabric
required as per your size and whatever length you want to make
it
Matching thread, sewing machine, pins, sharp scissors and a
measuring tape.
Closing or fixing hooks
NOTE - garment does not need to be lined
Method
Cutting out - full cutting instructions can be found
inside the pattern pack.
Just follow the instructions and easy to follow
diagrams.
Remember to measure from each arrow to sides of fabric to make sure
the distance is the same.
Because it's a series of circles the arrow determines the correct
fall once your garment is complete.
Also, all pieces required need to be cut from main section of
pattern block.
CHECK CHECK CHECK to ensure you have all numbered pieces before you
start cutting.
AND PIN PIN PIN before cutting as the tissue pattern pieces can
move.
Stitching and assembling
Full instructions for assembly are also included; just
follow the simple steps as provided and diagrams.
Check that the pattern piece match up before pinning each section
before stitching and pressing all seams flat
Work doesn't need to be hemmed, but it does need a fixing hook and
eye.
Hand or Stitch into place at top of neck by hood.
Work could be further embellished with flowers cut from the same or
contrasting fabric or trimmed with fur.
