Tiger set to break media silence

Tiger Woods is poised to give his first interview since a media storm engulfed his private, a source told Reuters on Monday.

The interview will be conducted by Tom Rinaldi at around midday (NZ time Monday) and will be broadcast on ESPN.

Woods is due to return to action at the US Masters on April 8, his first appearance since November.

The golfer has not conducted any interviews since stories broke regarding his marital infidelities, but he delivered an apologetic televised statement in February.
