Frankly we're sick of Tiger Woods and his headline hogging shenanigans, so tvnz.co.nz has decided to deliver a serious golf story.
And it doesn't get any more seriously sizzling than the LPGA Tour, where American bombshell Natalie Gulbis has proved once and for all, that even without Mr Woods, golf can be just a little bit sexy.
Like Woods, the Californian native picked up a club when she was still in her nappies, but by the time she hit 21 her true calling came in the form of a certain FHM cover.
It ended up being a watershed moment for Gulbis. The hot, steamy shoot, that left little to the imagination, inspired her to her most lucrative year on the Tour.
Back then she was dubbed the Anna Kournikova of golf, but she put that to bed in stunning fashion by breaking her title virginity in 2007 at the Evian Masters where she defeated Jeong Jang in a playoff to claim the winner's share of the $US3 million purse.
Gulbis may not have won anything since and in head-to-head career titles (and by all accounts - in one other significant tally) she trails Woods by quite some margin (1-71) but at least you could never accuse her of being a hussy.
Despite countless offers to bare all for Playboy Gulbis has said NO.
Oh bless her, now that's a golfing role model!
