The worldwide interest over Lydia Ko continues to boom ahead of the final round of the Australian Open in Canberra today.
America's Golf Channel has now decided to broadcast the final round live, with the teenager's success highlighted as the reason behind the change.
"A 15-year-old amateur sensation, Ko is bidding to win her fourth professional title in barely more than a year, She's bidding to win in back-to-back weeks after claiming the Ladies European Tour's New Zealand Women's Open last week," The Golf Channel said on their website.
The network had 14.6 million unique viewers last month.
Ko's phenomnal progress at the Australian Open, which sees her head into the final round sharing the lead with former former world number one Jiyai Shin of South Korea, is also being covered by other big players including ESPN, BBC and The Times.
Ko's and Shin will start today at 17 under, six shots clear of the field.
