New Zealand number one Danny Lee has failed to make the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour after a unhappy six over par 78 at Torrey Pines.
Lee had got himself off to a great start with a round of five under par 67 to be tied 17th, before four bogeys and a double bogey brought his hard work from the first day undone.
The former World Number One Amateur has now made the cut in one of three PGA Tour events in 2012.
Meantime at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship in the United Arab Emirates Michael Campbell has bounced back well in round two with a two under 70 but it wasn't enough as he missed the cut.
The former US Open champion, who opened with a seven over par 79, made four birdies and two bogeys to finish tied 93rd and off the pace.
Tiger Woods leads the tournament after three rounds alongside Englishman Robert Rock on an 11 under par total.
