Go Girls recap: s1, ep 13
One year on, Amy, Britta, Cody and Kevin return to the beach
where they first made their pact; Cody's big day brings heartbreak
and surprise; and it seems everyone believes in fairies.
Cody takes the gang to the same spot on the beach where they made
their vows a year ago.
She has a big announcement; the wedding is off.
And then we back up a couple of days&
She explains to the others that she and Eli had sex.
They are delighted for her, but Cody is less sure.
She's feeling pressured now to make the marriage work.
She's also getting pressure from Possum about arrangements; Gwen
wants Possum to live with Cody and Eli.
Cody starts moving her stuff into Eli's house and he stuns her by
proposing again 'for real' this time.
Cody stalls on giving an answer.
Then she sees Ben who admits that he's sold Ethel; it's time to
move on.
Cody argues with Possum who tells her some home truths; that she's
selfish and she needs to grow up.
After a drunken session of truth, dare or promise, Cody decides to
call off the wedding.
But the next day, Philippe's story is all over the papers; Eli has
been 'outed'.
Cody responds by going to Eli's support and announcing that the
wedding is definitely going ahead; she's standing by her man.
Despite a last minute attempt by Philippe to disrupt proceedings,
Cody and Eli are married.
Britta is happy for Cody to have found true sex with Eli but she's
distracted when she can't find her fairy diary.
She's got a feeling she's double booked herself the day of the
wedding.
She leans that Philippe has the diary and when she goes to retrieve
it is backed into a corner and reveals the truth about Eli and
Cody.
And she also discovers she is double-booked but when she goes to
cancel, discovers the child in question has leukemia.
So Britta agrees to do the party and Kevin points out to her that
she is, in fact, famous - amongst children - she is Fairy
Britta.
Amy is happy to be with Brad and delighted when an offer is made on
the house.
But then Angelina reveals that she is pregnant.
Brad wants Amy's guidance on what he should do, but she points out
that it's between him and Angelina.
Could it get any worse? Of course!
While Amy is waiting to hear about Brad's decision, a man arrives
claiming to be the real Les Danby - owner of the house.
Brad and Amy discover they are the victims of real estate fraud and
owe hundreds of thousands of dollars!
Shattered, Amy goes to the wedding and tries to be happy for
Cody.
But then she sees Larry at the reception and he explains that he's
moving home from rehab- with Alison.
He feels that the pressure that Amy put on him is not good for his
recovery.
Brad arrives and explains that his father has offered to bail them
out; if he tries to make it work with Angelina.
Amy tells him he owes it to Angelina to at least try.
Kevin still can't shake his feelings for Amy and the thought of her
and Brad is driving him crazy.
Britta now knows his secret and counsels him to stop having dark
thoughts.
He throws himself into helping Cody in her hour of need and
intercepts Philippe at the church and stops him disrupting
proceedings - by having a punch up.
At the reception, Kevin decides to finally reveal his feelings to
Amy, once and for all.
But she gets in first by making clear that she values his
friendship above all else.
