Q & A with Matt Whelan

Brad (Matt Whelan) in Go Girls on TV2

Brad has changed significantly. How has his personality evolved since the last season?

I think Brad is quite an impressionable guy. He's gone to South America and has seen the culture and style there and thought, "this looks cool, I'll give this a go."

This season he seems to have more focus and is a bit more relaxed but to be honest, I think hes pretty much the same Brad on the inside.

Maybe hes just a little more worldly and independent, or at least he wants to be anyway.

What is the dynamic like between Brad and the Go Girls this year?

Brad's goal this season is to be his own man, to be independent and to focus on his new venture.

So, when it comes to looking after the girls he naturally shuns away from it.

His motto for the first few episodes is 'dont get involved', but of course, being Brad he slips back into his old patterns and helps the girls where he can.

I must say that the Go Girls dont really give him an option, he's there for them whether he likes it or not.

But he really does love the girls so it's not as bad as he thinks.

And now for some quick fire questions! Your favourite place is? Home... and Venice.

Your current fave song? Take All of Me by Matt Corby.

The actor you'd choose to play you in a movie is: Me at the moment but ask me again in 50 years!

The celebrity you'd most like to have playing your love interest? Daniel Day-Lewis. In a father-son love kind of way.

Go Girl you'd most likely be friends with in real life: Probably Joel.

Favourite thing about your character? He's a nice guy with a good heart and good intentions.

And the least favourite? He tends to have tunnel vision when it comes to life's problems and he often doesn't realise a good thing until it's too late.
