Q & A with Esther Stephens
Olivia was certainly put through the mill last year.
Where is she at this season?
Olivia has come out the other side of cancer only to be
thrust into a whole new traumatic experience.
But Joel is there to support and counsel her and she makes some
interesting discoveries and learns some good lessons that shape her
decisions throughout the season.
You and Johnny Barker got to write and record a number of
songs for this season. What was this experience like?
So much fun! Johnny and I have great musical
chemistry.
He has spearheaded the writing process, with his The Aristocrats
bandmates and I have contributed to the vocal side of things.
Now that Olivia is well, how will she and Joel cope as a
couple?
Joel and Olivia met in an exceptional circumstance; now
that she is well they will have to reevaluate where they stand with
one another and what their relationship means to each of
them.
But ultimately I think it makes them better, stronger people.
What have the highlights been for you this time
around?
Working on more music has been a real treat, and just
getting to work every day with my friends in a job I love that is
always a huge highlight.
